Whitefish


Whitefish -

A delicate-flavored fish of very light silvery color caught chiefly in the Great Lakes. It is in season from November to the early summer and reaches an average weight of two to six pounds. There are numerous varieties, differing somewhat in characteristics and known locally by divers titles.
