Lemon Syrup

Lemon Syrup -

If of the first quality, consists of lemon juice, fresh lemon peel and sugar. The juice is first boiled with the peel, cooled and filtered, then a little water is added and finally the sugar is put in and dissolved. A lesser grade consists of syrup with citric acid and lemon extract added in the proportion of 2 to 1.
